Update: Basang Panaginip migrated to Blogger Beta. Some of my previous design tweaks do not work with the current Blogger. I've updated my designs.
This comment form has a button for bold, italics, and links.
It also has a real time automatic preview of what you are typing .
How to implement it in your blogger:
1. Install browservulsel's custom comment form.
2. Install alexking's quicktags.
3. Install scriptygoddess' live preview.
That's it! Hope you implement it well. If you have any problem on the installation, leave your comment here, and I'll get back to you as soon as I can.
Hi! I like your site's template, although it seems that I'm a little bit unfamiliar with the design so naninibago ako, haha. But then again, lovely colors! Ang neat!
Thank you visiting my site Gelay.

Yeah, single column blogs are rare. The holy grail of course is three columns, and the standard two column templates.
I want to try something different for this blog. Single column with no sidebar whatsoever.
My inspiration for the colors is as simple as a color wheel. Green and Orange blends into each other well. Then from that vantage point, I mix it up using Photoshop and experimented with the shades and values using different color schemes.
I'm glad you like it. Thanks again for visiting.
Actually single column blogs are fine; I've seen a handful before. Kaya lang nanibago ako sa navigation, as well as the "featured" comments ontop of the column. I find it cool, although nakakapanibago nga.
Yeah, I've seen a couple of single column blogs too. But as I've said they are rare - two columns and three columns blogs are much much prevalant.

My eyes are used to: rightORleft-to-bottom navigation. So it takes a while to get used to the bottom-to-right way of seeing menus. But I'm confident after a few visits, you'll get the hang of it.
The featured comments I'm proud of, because it is my original idea. It is based on the rotating banner idea, which I've applied to comments instead.
One of this days I'm gonna write a tutorial one how I've done it.
Good day to you, Gelay.
This looks like a good option. i will try to use it for a even more complete idea i had for blogger comments. if it works you will need 9 mods but i think is worth it.
ey michael

neat design
the minimal approach
and this is one ingenious work
Interesting take on page formatting in general and comment list in particular. You wouldn't happen to keep an archive or side blog on design or tech topics?
Karla,

Thank you for the heads up. Any new web design project lately?
=========================
Johan,
Glad you joined us.
Unfortunately I don't have an online portfolio to show you.
I used to work for an ISP as an in-house webmaster (yeah, side by side with the scientist-looking sys admins), afterwards as an outbound web designer (side by side with the back-end database programmers, and slick-looking marketing people) for the same company. Most of the sites I've designed have now been redesigned, so there.
This was before the dotcom bubble burst (circa ms jscript, web browser war, pre-standards era).
It's been years since I've coded something (last time was a graphic designer for an xml tagging company who specializes in converting scientists tomes into searchable info), as I am now a full-time graphic artist (mostly print).
Thank you for the critique, it means a lot coming from a javascript expert.
============================
will be getting a project from my officemate this holiday season hehe
so even if i'll be taking a leave from work, i'll still be working though hehe
well, good for you, iba na talaga magaling - in demand.

keep up the good work, just make sure to enjoy the holidays too.
thanks again karla.
For a Blogger blog, this design is quite amazing. I bet it takes a lot of skill and knowledge on HTML codings. I admire the look so much.
The design is quite unique. The use of whitespace is quite good, and the color scheme is cool.
The only problems I can see have to do with usability. For instance, the drop-down navigation is confusing. Especially since the only labels say "Previously" and "Continue.." On your article pages, you will need an easily-seen link to the main page.
Also, the menu text has the same appearance as the body text -- the menu items don't look like links until you point your mouse over them. I suggest you alter their appearance slightly so people will know right away what they are.
Since the multitude of comments plus the design tend to make the page run longer, I suggest either paginating the comments, or putting a "back to top" link after every few comments, so the viewer can easily get back to the menu.
Hope this helps.
Wow.
I love the simple design.
Its neat.
Its great.
Thank you from Paris.
IT Girl,

I'll see what I can do (before or after New Year). Pagination for Blogger?! Now that is an idea. I'd like see someone try, just for the challenge (I'd take on the challenge myself, but I have so little free time these days).

To all,
Thank you. Browservulsel, alexking, and scriptygoddess built the platform, from which I was able to brew and weave ideas.
This is pretty nice - I might try it on my site.

Your form is okay now.

I really appreciate your design, and I like this type of simple but beautiful appearance sooooooo much.
Honestly, now I am telling you that I copied some part of your design, especially your color theme.
I even used your comments-block style almost fully.
If you feel offended, I would change that.
I wish you not:)
Many thanks!
